
Ms. Martine Belfi was admitted to practice law in New Jersey, in 2004, after receiving her Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law. After law school, Sarah clerked for a Judge in the Superior Court, Family Division, Gloucester County, New Jersey. After her clerkship, Sarah joined a law firm, where she was an attorney for more than seven years, practicing family law, before becoming a shareholder in Martine & Katz Scanlon.
Ms. Martine Belfi has experience litigating all aspects of matrimonial matters, from inception through the conclusion of trial as well as experience at the appellate level. Ms. Martine Belfi has trial experience in all areas of family law, including alimony, child support, custody and equitable distribution. Moreover, Ms. Martine Belfi serves as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester Counties.
Ms. Martine Belfi was featured in South Jersey Women in Business by South Jersey Magazine in 2009. She was also recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for the last six years, 2008-2013. The selection process for this award includes a statewide nomination process and independent research by Law & Politics on each candidate. Ms. Martine Belfi is a member of the Camden County Bar Association.
Ms. Martine Belfi has extensive experience in matters involving arguments regarding psychological parents, including in the Appellate Division.
