
Briana received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from York College of Pennsylvania. After college, she worked as a recruiter for a staffing company before attending Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in May 2020.
During her time at Drexel, Briana interned at Philadelphia Legal Assistance, the Senior Law Center, and the Montgomery County Public Defenders, assisting low-income individuals in accessing the courts, including family court. Briana also worked as a co-op student at Martine Katz Scanlon & Schimmel before graduation. Upon graduation, Briana received the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Eric D. Turner Award.
After graduating from Drexel, Briana completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable John J. Matheussen, J.S.C., Gloucester County, New Jersey, in the Family Divisio,n assisting in matters related to dependency, custody, divorce, and adoption. Briana also spent time working for the Domestic Relations Unit of Philadelphia Family Court, where she handled matters relating to divorce, custody, support, and equitable distribution.
In 2025, Briana was named an Outstanding Young Alumni of York College of Pennsylvania.
When she’s not working, Briana spends her time with her husband, Will, and their dogs and cats. Briana was born in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Philadelphia for the last eight years.
