Alyssa B. Barrett, Esq. works with families in the Greater Philadelphia area and South New Jersey. Alyssa earned her Juris Doctorate from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. As a law student, she was a member of Temple’s Family Law Litigation Clinic and appeared with clients in the Family Court of Philadelphia. Alyssa received the Clinical Legal Education Association Award for her advocacy in the family law clinic. Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law & Society and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Administration & Family Policy from the University of Delaware.
Alyssa served as law clerk to The Honorable Betsy J. Wahl of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Family Division. After her clerkship, Alyssa joined a law firm where she practiced family law. Alyssa is a member of the Nicholas A. Cipriani Family Law American Inn of Court. She is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia Bar Associations, all in their family law sections. Alyssa is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
